Social media, off your plate.
You don't need ideas. You need someone to do it. One filming day every three months covers you for three months of posts.
What's usually wrong.
- The last post was eleven months ago, so people think you've closed.
- Every post is the shopfront with your hours written across it.
- You post on Sunday night, when hardly anyone's looking.
- There's no video.
- Your bio has no phone number, address or link.
- You're on four apps and doing none of them well.
What you get.
One filming day every three months
Half a day at your place, four times a year. That's all it takes out of your week.
Posts made from it
Photos and video, edited and ready to go.
Captions written
In your voice, not advert-speak.
Approved a month ahead
You see everything before it goes out.
One app, done properly
Usually Facebook here. Instagram if that suits you better.
Comments watched
Questions get answered. Anything for you, I pass on.
How it works.
Work out what you'd post about
Half an hour. Most people have more to show than they think.
The first filming day
Half a day. I'll tell you what to do.
It runs
You approve the month. One page of numbers at the end of it.
The price.
- Eight posts and one video a month
- Filming day every three months
- Captions written and posted
- One app looked after
- Comments and messages watched
- One page of numbers each month
Twelve posts, three videos and two apps is $1,250 a month.
Three months minimum, because you can't tell anything in four weeks.
With your Google listing and advertising as well, the lot is $1,650 a month.
Questions.
How much does it cost?
$600 to $1,500 a month for a small business. Mine starts at $750 and includes the photos and video.
Which app should I be on?
Facebook, in Alice. That's where the local groups are. Instagram if what you sell looks good in photos.
How often should I post?
Two or three times a week. Being regular matters more than posting a lot.
Do I have to be in the videos?
No. Plenty of it can be the work itself.
What if I don't like what you've written?
You see the month before it goes out. Change anything you want.
Can I stop after three months?
Yes. Then it's month by month, 30 days notice. You keep every photo and video.
